My name is David Austin Walsh. I am currently a postdoctoral associate at the Yale Program for the Study of Antisemitism. I was previously a College Fellow at the University of Virginia. I earned a PhD in U.S. history from Princeton University.

My book Taking America Back: The Conservative Movement and the Far Right, is a history of the intertwined relationship between the radical right wing and the mainstream conservative movement from the New Deal era through to the end of the twentieth century. It will be published in the spring of 2024.
